Other events

The SEL Congress will be framed by two other events.

Just before the SEL-Congress, the "7th Dresden Meeting on Insect Phylogeny" has been scheduled for September 25–27, 2015 (Friday to Sunday). A shortlist of ca. 30 invited talks has meanwhile been composed. A website of the meeting has been set up at insectphyl2015.snsd.de. It includes online registration (now open) and instructions for the submission of oral presentations and posters. A preliminary programme will be added soon. As for the foregoing meetings, fees are kept low (early rate: full 60 Euro; reduced 30 Euro).

Just after the SEL-Congress, from October 2–4, the Annual Meeting of the German speaking Microlepidopterists will take place in Radebeul, organized by Matthias Nuss. This will be organized in the same Congress hotel for the same per diem prices. Attendants of that meeting are welcome to join the SEL-Congress excursion on Friday, October 2. Registration for the Microlepidopterists’ meeting is possible using the same form as for the registration for the SEL-Congress.

Thus, attendants may decide to join one, two or three really interesting meetings in Dresden and Radebeul during the autumn of 2015.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the organizer.
