News 53 available online! (5 December 2013)

News 53 is now available as pdf. It is the last issue that will also be sent as paper copy to members, together with the December issue of Nota. From next year on, News will be online only. Members who have absolutely no online access can send a request to Willy De Prins, membership secretary, for a printed copy.

Members can also submit short manuscripts, including observations, announcements etc. Please send to Willy De Prins.

Updated Statutes and Byelaws now available (12 October 2013)

The General Meeting in Blagoevgrad, August 2013, adopted a changed version of the Bye-laws. The pdf's of the new version can be found, in three languagues under the heading Statutes.

Nota will be published by Pensoft! (August 2013)

Council proudly announces that an agreement has been reached woth Dr. Lyubomir Penev, director of Pensoft publishers, to Publish Nota Lepidopterologica for the Society from 2014 on. The journal will benefit from many of the special tools that Pensoft has in place for such journals as Zookeys.

The general meeting also approved that Nota will from now on only be published in English. However, News will allow short articles in French and German, and encourages members to send in short papers (short notes etc.).



SEL on facebook (August 2013)

The new website committee, installed at the Congress (see Council page) has created a facebook page Amongst others it shows recent photos of the congress! When you visit it and 'like' it you will receive updates.

Congress Bulgaria a success

The Congress in Blagoevgrad has been a real succes with almost 160 participants and days packed with interesting talks. The mid week excursion and post congress tour let the poarticipants discopver and enjoy Bulgaria's nature and many species of Lepidoptera. Soon we hope to post a link to the Congress Abstract book. All abstracts are also available on the congress site.

Older volumes Nota now online!

The Biodiversity heritage Library has started scanning older volumes of Nota, and many are already available online.

You can browse complete volumes, or go to the index of each volume and directly to aan article.



Nota latest pdf's now online

The pdf's of volumes 34 (2011) and 35 (2012) are now online. This means that Nota is now fully open access. From volume 26 on you will find the pdf's online, a few missing issues will be added soon. Older volumes will be scanned by BHL and become visible during 2013.
